In the recent news, the popular VJ and Tamil actor Ananda Kannan passed away at the mere age of 48. The entire Tamil fraternity has gotten devastated after learning about the shocking demise of Kannan while his fans have also been expressing their sorrow and been paying the late actor tribute on social media. Mankatha fame director Venkat Prabhu came forward and confirmed the death of the actor. The 45-years-old took to his Twitter and posted a picture of Ananda and captioned it with lost a noble friend and a great human and paid his sincere condolences.
Filmmaker Prabhu had worked with Ananda Kannan in a Tamil movie titled “Saroja” that was released in 2008. After the confirmation, the users flooded Twitter with RIP and condolence messages. The actress turned politician Gayathri Raguram also expressed her shock and stated that Ananda was a positive person as he brought smiles to everyone’s faces and that he is gone too sooner. Gayathri shared condolences to the late actor’s family and friends afterwards. Another actor Ashok Kumar sent prayers to the family to deal with the tremendous loss. Besides, the fans are posting heartbroken posts sharing the actor made their childhood memorable.
Ananda Kannan passed away on Monday, 16th August 2021. As per the reports, the cause of his death was bile duct cancer, an unusual condition where cancer cells start getting formed in the bile duct. From Singapore Vasantham TV, Kannan had begun his career where he appeared both as a host and an actor. Soon after, the actor shifted to Chennai for work and worked as a video jockey (VJ) in Sun Music. It was the time when Ananda started getting much recognition for his work. Within a short curse of time, he became one of the most popular VJs.
Later, the actor appeared in 2012 released a Tamil movie titled “Adhisaya Ulagam”. It was a science fantasy film that garnered huge attention from the viewers as well. In the movie Mullum Malarum, he also worked as a lead character where he was featured opposite Prajin. Besides movies, Ananda Kannan also made few guest appearances in the above-mentioned movie Saroja, made in the direction of Venkat Prabhu. Apart from that, the actor was also a brand ambassador of Natural Spa and Salon. Unfortunately, the actor couldn’t survive deadly Bile Duct cancer and left the industry too sooner.
