The “Night Court” and “The Fall Guy” fame American actress Markie Post has died at the age of 70. Battling cancer for more than three years and ten months, she died on Saturday, August 7 this year. The actress’ manager, Ellen Lubin Sanitsky, confirmed the death. After the unfortunate piece of news broke out, the fans are paying tribute to the actor and are sharing condolence messages on social media platforms. Markie had appeared on plenty of Television shows in which the 70s and 80s show “CHiPs”, “The Incredible Hulk”, and “Barnaby Jones” were a massive hit.
Markie Post was also featured in the shows including “Hart to Hart” and “Buck Rogers in the 25th Century”. Her extraordinary performance and exceptional acting skills had engaged a lot of attention as the viewers seemed to watch her films and television shows. Before appearing in the industry, Markie Post has been worked in plenty of game shows. While she started her career with Tom Kennedy’s production crew from “Split Second”, a game show which was originally created by Monty Hall and Stefan Hatos.
Later, Markie served as the associate producer of CBS Double Dare. After getting featured in plenty of game shows, the actress had become a celebrity player who graved several shows like “The Match Game-Hollywood Squares Hour” and “Super password”. Post’s acting journey began from the 1979 episode of “Barnaby Jones”. However, she rose to fame after her appearance in ABC Action Drama “The Fall Guy” which was an American adventurous program that entertained the viewers for quite some time.
