Johnson, who had non-lymphoma Hodgkin’s and the uncommon immunological illness hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis, died as a result of organ failure, according to Kevin Iole of Yahoo Sports. With 17 knockout victories, Johnson concluded his MMA career with a 23-6 record. Johnson had a four-year break from the sport after losing a title battle to Daniel Cormier at UFC 210 in 2017 before making a brief comeback at Bellator 258.
