Bigg Boss Tamil Season 5 has become the subject of discussion ever since it premiered on October 3, 2021. From the controversial contestants to their never-ending fights and arguments, BBT5 has managed to garner huge attention from the viewers. Yesterday witnessed the first weekend episode of the reality show hosted by Kamal Hassan. However, something happened that no one has even dreamt of as one contestant walked out of the show. It has only been one week since the grand launch of the show which has witnessed the return of the superstar kamal Hassan for the record fifth time. A total of 18 contestants took part this year to become a strong contender to become the winner of the reality show. However, the first weekend witnessed something really shocking as the popular contestant Namitha Marimuthu walked out of the show. The reason behind her exit is being said due to unavoidable circumstances. Though the actual reason has not been shared by the host himself and the revelation of the reason is still awaited
Last week, the contestants were given a task where they all have to narrate their life journey. The task was titled “Oru Kadha Sollatuma” and it required the housemates to talk about their personal lives and the troubles they faced. Besides, other contestants were asked to give heart, like, and dislike emojis after listening to each other’s stories. Namitha Marimuthu who also happens to be the first person to be selected for the Tamil version of the reality show shared her story that resulted in everyone getting emotional. She spoke about how her parents and relatives thrashed her after finding out about her being a transperson.
After listening to Namitha’s emotional story, Kamal Hassan also stated that he is touched and felt that her representation and her presence alone was much needed for the show and society altogether. He added that he wishes her all the best and wished that she continue to taste success. However, the actual reason why Namitha was seen absent from Bigg Boss Tamil 5 has not been disclosed yet. Tonight’s episode will feature one nominated contestant getting eliminated from the show while the others will be declared safe and will continue to being part of the game show.
