The Bihar Board Of School Education has conducted the STET 2019 exam. The exam was conducted on 28 January 2020 across the state. The exam was earlier scheduled in November 2019, but due to some administrative reasons, it was postponed, and finally, it was conducted in January. Meanwhile, the exam board made some revisions in the pattern. A few centres, the exam was cancelled and it was re-scheduled on 26 February 2020.
A total of 2 lakh candidates appeared for the BSEB board. Now the aspirants are looking for their results which will be announced online on the official website of BSEB. (http://biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in/)

According to the new rule of NCTE, every state has to conduct Teacher Eligibility Test before recruiting the candidates. For the same BSEB conducted the STET 2019.
The result of the exam was expected in the 1st week of April 2020.
Test Pattern
The exam for the Bihar Stet exam was conducted for 2 papers. Paper 1 was conducted to check the eligibility of class 9 and 10, where Paper 2 for class 11 and 12.
Almost every other state conducts the exam at regular intervals but, BSEB fails to conduct the same. This exam will recruit more than 25000 posts at the secondary level.
Result Status
The BSEB STET has to follow a few necessary steps before they release the Result 2020.
- The first one is the board will be releasing the provisional answer key and the candidates will be asked to submit objections or representation against it.
- The candidates can then submit objections against the wrong answers in the answer key.
- Based on the objections, the board will be preparing the final answer key to the exam.
According to the final answer key The BSEB STET Result 2020 will be prepared.
Post Distributions: there is a total of 25270 vacancies for the Secondary department. The post-distribution is as follows.

- Hindi: 3000
- Sanskrit: 1054
- Urdu: 1000
For HIgher Secondary(Class 11, 12) the total number of vacancies is 12065. The post distributions are as follows.

- Botany: 835
