As per reports, the veteran TV news anchor Catherine Kasavuli was battling cancer for a long time. She was reportedly fighting Cervical cancer. The womb’s neck is affected by cervical cancer which is caused by the formation of abnormal cells in the cervix’s lining. After the statement in which she also requested blood donations and financial assistance for medical expenses. Taking to Twitter, Mama Rachel Ruto, EGH, Catherine Kasavuli was a woman of great distinction and accomplishment. She added that throughout her career, she consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, poise, and professionalism.

Mama further wrote that even if the public did not enjoy the news, they enjoyed watching how gracefully she delivered it. In November 2022, she said that the last month has really been crazy for her and that she wants to take this moment and appreciate her family, colleagues in the media industry, the Catherine Kasavuli Foundation team, my doctors, friends, strangers, and online community. “I wish I could respond to all your messages, I see them and I am really humbled.
