The 40-years-old missing mom Tara Strozier’s lifeless body has been recovered by the police in Oklahoma pond. The lady was reported missing on 19th July from Fort Smith in Arkansas. After ten days of being missing, the authorities eventually found her body. The authorities have stated earlier that the woman must have gotten killed. Now, they recovered the body that had been weighed down in a pond situated in Oklahoma. According to the officials, the woman’s body was tortured before pressing down in the pond which resulted in her death.
Tara Strozier was a mother of three children who got missing on 19th July. The officials have informed that she was seen alive on July 17 in Cameron, Oklahoma which is about 20 miles away from Fort Smith. Currently, three persons have been taken into custody as they were suspected of murdering the woman. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) stated that Tara was reported as missing on July 19. It was on July 24, when LeFlore County Sheriff’s Office deputies witnessed Tara’s car which they described as a black Volkswagen Jetta.
OSBI mentioned that the car was seen abandoned in Cameron’s driveway. After spotting the car, the officials suspected foul play as there was no sign of Strozier. After the joint investigation, the officials released a statement where they informed that the suspects tortured the 40-years-old first before killing her. The suspects who are zeroed by the officials include Alex Nathaniel Davis aged 30, Kaelin Hutchinson aged 24, and 23-years-old Austin Johnson.
Investigation authorities further revealed that the culprit David confessed to murdering Tara while Johnson was present at the time of the crime. They added that they tortured her first and then weighed her down in the water and after that threw her into the pool. The culprits were produced before the court for the hearing. Currently, first-degree murder charges are imposed both on David and Johnson. Besides, another culprit Hutchinson was charged for reportedly blocking an officer.
Among the culprits, David is also put under kidnapping charges. The confession was recorded on July 29, 2021. The news has shocked the residents who are expressing their sadness over the unexpected crime. Though, all the three culprits were being held at the LeFlore County Detention Centre. They will face the consequences of the crime as they will have to suffer in the prison. However, how did Tara Strozier reach there and how exactly she became the victim of the heinous crime is not known yet.
