According to his family and kins, he was diagnosed with cancer 9 years back and it is to be said that it is the cause of his death. Norman Gene Macdonald professionally known as Norm Macdonald was born on October 17, 1959, in Quebec City Canada and the interesting is about him is, he was not only a stand-up comedian but also a writer, and actor prominently known for his deadpan style.
Talking about his career so he began his career where he wrote scripts for the very famous sitcom of its time named Roseanne. Post which he got selected for a cast member on Saturday Night live for five years and this lead to his fame. Coming on has some other achievements so including his anchoring for the weekend update segment for three seasons while which he also got the chance to make his presence as a guest in some of the shows such as TDCS (The Drew Carey Show) and also the News Radio. He was appeared in a lead role in 1998’s film named Dirty Work and also in his own sitcom named The Norm Show which he created in the same year after leaving SNL and the show ran for two years.
After a nine year’s battle with cancer Norm Macdonald passed away at the age of 61 and his death news has brought a grieving wave on social media because he had a huge fan base so every single fan whoever is getting to know about this shocking incident they are mourning his death in their way and showing their love and affection towards him and his work as well. MacDonald’s long-time producing partner Lori Jo Hoekstra said in a statement that he was one of the most loved entertainers and he was the same person off-screen whom people love to watch on screen and whether he was diagnosed with cancer but he never wished that his disease may affect his audience and everyone who love to watch him.
