The person we are talking about was DB Inamdar expanded real name Danappagouda Basanaguda Inamdar who was the former minister and senior congress leader deceased yesterday 25th April 2023 in Bengaluru. He was a Native of Neginal near Kittur in Belagavi district. He had served as an MLA representing Kittur. He won five of the nine Assembly elections he participated in. He joined the Congress in 1991 after entering politics in 1983 after the death of his father B.D. Inmadar.He also won the Janta party seat as a candidate in Kittur.

Danappagouda Basanagouda Inamdar served on the Board of the Sirasangi Desai Foundation Trust also elected recently as chairman of the Kittur Rani Channama residential school for girls.it is confirmed that he died from illness by said from his family that he was admitted to the hospital because of an infection in his liver and lungs.
