The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test result for the year 2019-20 (UPTET) is out now! Those who appeared for the recruitment of primary and upper primary teachers for the schools of Uttar Pradesh can check their results on the official website updeled.gov.in and download it.
Consistently, UPTET conducts two papers, naming it 1 and 2 which are qualification tests for various teaching posts for government schools in the state, ranging from class 1 to class 8. Paper 1 is for teachers who want to opt from class 1 to class 5 and paper 2 is meant for those candidates who are recruited for class 6 to class 8. Earlier, the UTET exam was scheduled for December 22 but got postponed to January 8, 2020, due to the internet restrictions in several regions of Uttar Pradesh because of the ongoing CAA protests.
More than 16 lakh candidates appeared for the UPTET 2019 examination in the state. Out of the total number of UPTET applicants more than 10 lakh candidates opt for the primary stage (paper 1) while 5.6 lakh candidates applied for the elementary stage (paper 2). According to the UPTET Controller of Examination 29.74% of candidates have qualified in the UPTET primary level examination (paper 1) while 11.46% qualified in the UPTET upper primary level exam (paper 2).
If you still haven’t checked your result of the UPTET 2019-20 exam, follow these quick steps.
– Go to the official website updeled.gov.in
– On the homepage, under heading ‘important’ you will find a link saying “UPTET 2019 result”, click on it.
– A tab will open that will take you to the next page, enter the required details and click on submit button.
– Your UPTET Result 2019 will appear on the screen. Download it and keep a print out of it for further processes.
Since, the UPTET 2020 result lasts for five years, counting from the date of declaration of its result. Hence, anyone who gets qualified, can apply for the further process anytime in between these years. And, if you are not satisfied with the score, you can appear again for the UPTET examination as there is no restriction on the number of attempts.
