Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein written update begins with Sai looking at Virat and remembers Ashwini’s words that Virat is representing for his act. Here, Virat regrets lashing out at Sai and thinks he could have held his anger. He begins to think about the good time spent with Sai and smiles while “Hamari Adhuri Kahani” plays in the background. Sunny notices Sai and asks Virat about it. The latter tells him that she is upset because of him as he had shouted at her earlier. He thinks that Sunny suggested proposing to Sai but he couldn’t and it’s the result of that only.
Sunny tells Virat that the past cannot be changed and he should focus on the present only. He asks Virat to tells Sai about his feelings. Virat says that he feels guilty for upsetting Sai. Sunny asks him not to think that way and just tell her the truth and the amount of love he has in his heart for her. Meanwhile, Pulkit arrives. He tells him that he should not keep false hopes as it will only cause him pain. Pulkit adds that Sai will never forgive him for what he did to her and won’t accept his love either.
Pulkit advises Virat to leave as he will take care of Sai but he refuses to leave. Here, Sunny asks Virat to call him if needs him. Later, Pulkit goes to Sai’s room. He asks if she was waiting for someone other than him. She tells him that she wasn’t. Then, Pulkit serves the food while Virat watching the pair from the glass window. Sai’s gaze falls upon Virat and they both look at each other. Later, Sai falls asleep. When she wakes up, she gets started to see Virat standing there holding a coconut. She tries to move but falls while Virat holds her.
Virat tries to convince Sai in returning home with him as he couldn’t correct the past but can surely promise that their future will be bright. Sai says that she has no house and asks him if he stayed here just to take her back home. Virat nods. Sai asks him to return as he has to fulfill his duties but the latter refuses to go without taking her. In the next scene, Virat comes to know that Pakhi had intentionally sent Ajinkya to Sai’s room. Pakhi comes to Virat ad asks why he didn’t join the family dinner. Virat loses his calm and lashes out at her. Pakhi gets turned.
