The film featuring some of the notable actors of B Town started its theatrical journey on a low note. However, the film picked the pace on its second day and come up with a decent collection. The response of the audience on the third day is decent as well. Along with that, the film has witnessed support from overseas as the film is doing good in the United Kingdom and some other overseas box offices. According to the latest reports claimed by some cinema-goers informed that the film surpassed the collection of Bhool Bhulyaiaa Returns in the United Kingdom. The film has raked around £40k on a day which is more than Kartik Aaryaan starer earned £37K. The number is the same as Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani’s starer Jugjugg Jeeyo earned £48K. However, the domestic earning of Ek Villain Returns is nowhere near than Bhool Bhulyaiaa Returns. The first-day box office collection of the film is more than the two days collection of the sequel of Ek Villain.
Apart from the United Kingdom, the film collected $95K at the US/Canada box office. It earned $120K so far at Gulf, the film received an extended weekend in the country. Whereas it earned A$28K. As we informed that the film experienced growth on its second day as it collected ₹7 crores. The film sustained its decent run on Sunday as well. The business of the film also experienced a growth of around 10%. As of now, the film has collected around ₹13.75 crores as its nett collection. It is being assumed that Sunday will take a total of around ₹20 to 21 crores.
The first day of its first week will decide the further situation of the film. The film hasn’t any major competition. So, it should take advantage of the further weeks. But two weeks later, some of the highly awaited movies including Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar and Aamir Khan’s incredibly anticipated film Lal Singh Chadda released on 11th August and 15th August 2022 respectively.
Ek Villain Returns still has a week to collect some more bucks in its bag.
