Hostel Daze is a result of the fellowship of Amazon Prime Video and The Viral Fever (TVF). The makers of Kota Factory namely, Saurabh Khanna, Raghav Subbu, and Sameer Saxena bring you this young adult comedy-drama satire which gives you a glimpse of what Kota Factory’s end would take you i.e. the hostel life of an engineering college. The series was released on 13th Dec 2019 and was successful in pulling the audience as anyone who watches it by one way or another relates to life as theirs. The show exhibits the lodging life of engineering students and embodies the trickeries that living in a hostel involves.
The series focuses on four hostel mates who are in their first year of college. The story narrates the life of a hostel that praises the misfortunes of four understudies and roommates, united by destiny. Ankit, Chirag, and Jaat who unintentionally become roommates. What follows is a friendship forged together by savage seniors, guiltless love, hurting heartbreaks, and drooping grades. They get through ragging, exams, sharing dating tips with Jhantoo, who has been in his first year for four years. Being underdogs, each one of them wants to become famous and is on the quest to make their presence felt on campus.The whole series is comprised of 5 episodes summing 30 mins each. The story and dialogues hit you at the correct minute that you won’t understand that it’s a similar story you will discover in the movies like 3 Idiots or Chhichhore but with the liberty of using adult content. The best part is, even the makers didn’t work for the same rather were more focused on making you chuckle with grown-up lunacy.
Now that the first season has finished with the splendid comical inclination and incredible exhibitions, that took you on a nostalgic ride and made you experience different feelings and leaving you snickering and cheering. Everyone has become a fan of this series, we are also wondering when they will be getting the next season for the show. As of now, there is no confirmation on Hostel Daze Season 2 release, hence there is no available release date. Yet in the event that the show gets recharged in a month or something like that, we will be seeing Hostel Daze Season 2 by the September of 2020.
