She shared in a statement that she had stepped out of the restroom when she suddenly heard a bang sound which sounded like an explosion and watched as glass flew all the way back to the counter. As per the Springfield Police Department spokeswoman Cris Swaters, this accident happened while the driver attempt to make a turn onto eastbound Elm Street, and the crashed car is identified as a550 had Black Mercedes-Benz G550 that had driven into the building. This crash incident affect the patrons and create after-work traffic outside which resulted in northbound National between Elm and Cheery streets being closed for a part of the evening.
