In recent news, Uppalapati Krishnam Raju, former Union Minister and veteran actor died. On Sunday, September 11, 2022, the minister took his last breath and left his well-wishers and family members behind in profound grief. According to hospital sources, Krishnam was undergoing treatment and despite being given the best possible care, the doctors could not save his life. He was 83 at the time of his demise. Now, his death has shattered everyone’s hearts as people are taking to social media to pay him last tributes. Here, check what was his cause of death.

Reports confirm that he was admitted to a private hospital on August 5, 2022. It is said that he was suffering from post-Covid-19 ailments. In the Atal Bihari Vajpayee administration, he held the position of Union Minister of State and was a two-time member of the Lok Sabha. Raju, also known as “Rebel Star,” played rebellious roles in more than 180 movies and set new standards for the genre. In 1966, he made his cinematic debut in the Telugu film “Chilaka Gorinka.” For the different roles he played in movies, he received numerous honors and prizes.

Krishnam Raju Death Cause?

His death was mourned by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in a statement. KCR stated that the passing of Krishnam Raju, who appeared as a hero in several films over the course of a fifty-year career and garnered fans as a “Rebel Star” with his distinctive acting technique, is a big loss for the Telugu cinema industry. Telangana CM further said that Raju served the people of the country as a member of the Lok Sabha, as a Union Minister and through the field of political administration.

Expressing their sadness on the former minister’s death, Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar issued a statement in which he said that the minister’s death is painful and a big loss to the BJP Telugu film industry and people. A statement read that Raju was undergoing treatment at the AIG Hospitals and was admitted for post-Covid complications on August 5. The minister was reportedly diagnosed with severe pneumonia. It is said that it was caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria and fungal organisms, and severe infective bronchitis.

Apart from this, Krishnan Raju also had rhythm disturbances when he was admitted to the hospital. Since admission, he was managed on ventilator support. He was on appropriate treatment and close monitoring was done, Reports confirm that he succumbed to severe pneumonia and its complications on Sept 11, 2022, at 3:16 AM due to cardiac arrest.
