We have good news for the fans of Love Death And Robots as its season 4 has been confirmed. Yes, you read it right. The iconic series is making a return and ever since the announcement, the viewers are eager to check its release date and other details. Premiered worldwide on May 20, 2022, the third season managed to pull a lot of viewers to it and gained heaps of praise too. Now, everyone is curious to know about the upcoming season and its expected storyline. Here, in this article, check all the details.
Taking to Twitter on August 12, the official social media page of the animated series confirmed that Netflix has given green light to the new season. Sharing the news, the account wrote “Volume four, and Volume IV is a GO”. Let us tell you that the series will have 9 episodes which will feature Tim Miller, Jennifer Miller, Joshua Donen, Jennifer Yuh Nelson, and, David Fincher. These actors will return for its fourth installment. Let us add that the fans of the series were already celebrating the series as on August 10, it was revealed that Albert Mielgo won an Emmy in individual Achievement in Animation Character Design for Jibaro.
After the announcement of the news, the series started to trend on multiple platforms. Although the news of the renewal is heartily appreciated, it comes as no real surprise to the show’s fan base around the world. The fact that the series received an astounding 8.4/10 on IMDB and ratings of 85% and 79% on Rotten Tomatoes’ average Tomatometer and audience score, respectively, speaks volumes about how popular it has grown globally. The creator of Love, Death and Robots, Tim Miller, recently mentioned that they would like to continue creating additional volumes as long as Netflix continues to approve of production.
This is wonderful news. Miller simply said, “Why would we stop doing this as long as they let us continue to do it?” when speaking to IGN in April 2021. Unfortunately, Love, Death, and Robots season 4’s renewal announcement left out a target release date. Nevertheless, we may draw some assumptions based on how quickly each of the show’s prior Netflix seasons was put together. We have more confidence in the mid-2023 return window because Blur Studios was the sole studio to affirm that it was working on the next fourth season, suggesting that pre-production may have already begun.
