The most heart-wrenching news is arriving towards the people that athlete Milkha Singh has passed away at 91 due to complications of a deadly virus, on Friday night. He was suffering from the virus for around one month, but the god called him to himself, due to which there was a wave of mourning among his admirers and relatives whom he used to be very close. Most of the actors are paying tribute to him on social media, due to which Twitter and other platforms have been flooded with tribute messages.
Athlete Mikha Singh urf Flying Sikh was infected by the virus on 20th May 2021 and got admitted to Mohali’s well-prominent hospital for treatment. He was discharged on 30th May before being admitted to the Covid ward at PGIMER’s Nehru Hospital Extension. Due to falling oxygen level on 3rd June, the athlete was tested negative on Thursday earlier this week and admitted to the medical ICU. After which there were many ups and downs in his health.
But on Friday his health condition worsened because he had suffered from the fever and dipping oxygen along with Covid-19 complications. Circumstances got worse, and he had faced the worst consequences which affected his breath rating. Even his health became weak along with his immune system which became the cause of his death because to fighting with this deadly virus there is necessary to keep the immunity strong. On his achievement, a movie also has been made called (Bhaag Milkha Baag) which got love from the audience.
Prime minister Narender Modi, who took to Twitter to condole Singh’s Demise and described a player Milkha Singh as a great Athlete who captured the fascination of the entire country. Meanwhile, said that we have lost a gem who always made our country proud, and ruled on the heart of many people. He was the inspiration of many athletes but his demise made everyone sad, may he rest in peace.
