The popular crime thriller Money Heist season finale left with a bang and an unexpected plot that gives the space for another season. The final episode begins with everyone chanting “professor” standing outside the bank as the leader has now walked into the rival’s territory. It was shown that the professor has surrendered to the authorities and due to the same reason, his team looks nothing but defeated. Here, Tamayo questions the professor about the stolen gold the moment before he arrests him and describes the charges that he and his team will be facing. Tamayo begins with Denver and says that he will give the individual a new life if they confess about the gold.

Later, the episode goes into a flashback, two months after the first heist to the Philippines. It is shown that the professor is shattered after his brother’s death and he is willing to rob the bank of Spain. The flashback ends and a video is being shown that displays Palermo revealing to the world how they rob the national reserve to make sure that the country knows that they have landed in economic trouble. However, it was also something, Tamayo was trying to keep hidden. Next, the investors bet against Spain’s fall that resulted in the stock market getting crashed.
Now, the country has gone bankrupt and the professor and his team happen to be the only people to stop it. Later, the professor agrees to disclose the location of the stolen gold. Tamayo even offers him a lifetime allowance along with a retirement plan. However, his teammates don’t seem to like the idea of the professor. However, with a lot of twists and turns, Money Heist Season 5 ends on a good note as all the characters of the series get their happy ending.
