Amazon Prime Video is ready to premiere the upcoming web series titled “Mumbai Diaries 26/11”. Yes, the release date of this highly anticipated series has been revealed. It will be released on the streaming platform on September 9 where viewers from 240 countries and regions would be able to stream it. The excitement to watch the said series is evident in the followers as it has been gaining a lot of love and attention. The series has been created by Nikhil Advani while it has been produced by Emmay Entertainment. As the title itself suggests, the show will pay tribute to all the real-life heroes or the front line workers who came ahead and saved as many lives as they could in the horrifying terror attack that had taken place in Mumbai on 26th November. The amazon series features Konkana Sen Sharma, Tina Desai, Mohit Raina, Satyajeet Dubey, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Mrunmayee Desphande like actors who will be seen essaying the crucial roles in the show.
The confirmation of the release of the series was done by Amazon Prie Video official Twitter handle where they share the announcement poster and added a caption that reads “Whatever it took, they stood tall and united” with the release date of the series. It will depict the terrifying attack on Mumbai and will pay tribute to all the medical staff, nurses, hospital staff and paramedics. For those unaware, ten terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba had attacked Mumbai that has killed as many as 166 people.
It was reported that the said terrorists had come from Pakistan and reached the country by sea. During the attack, 18 security personnel have also gotten killed while plenty of people have gotten severely injured. The government had seized Mumbai for 60 hours and it had created an atmosphere of fear and terror among the people. basically, Mumbai Diaries 26/11 will feature the condition of the emergency room of a government hospital as they faced challenges while dealing with the crisis.
Directed by Nikhil Advani, the amazon series is made under Emmway Entertainment. Though Nikhil Gonsalves is also associated with the direction.
