She was suffering from her old age disease and passed away after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease for a long period of time. She finished her junior year of college at International Christian University in Mitaka, Japan, and later she joined McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. She gets married to the Rev. David E. Mulford in 1961 and they lived in Albany, New York, Chatham Township, and Vero Beach Florida. Her husband was a Presbyterian minister who served as the pastor of churches in those communities.

She served as both a deacon and an elder and she was also an officer of P.E.O. On Tuesday 24 January 2023 at 02:00 pm a memorial event is going to occur for her memory at Nassau Presbyterian Church 61 Nassau Street, Princeton.
