It is one of the much-awaited films as the theatrical release of the movie has been postponed multiple times due to the pandemic, but, now it arrived at the box office with a bang and wreaked havoc at the ticket window with a wonderful response of the audience. It made a decent opening with its Hindi version as well and managed to retain its decent pace through the weekend.
The movie was released on 30th September 2021 with an extended weekend. It raked significant box office figures. It also witnessed a boost in business on Saturday because of the National Holiday. It collected Rs 8.50 crores and within 3 days of its release. It is being assumed that the movie will manage to rake a sum of around Rs 11.5-12 crores in its first weekend.
No Time To Die Total Collection
The numbers are better than almost every post-pandemic domestic movie released alongside. According to the latest box office reports, the business is better than Marvel release Shang Chi in Delhi NCR and the Punjab region. Shang Chi is considered the highest grosser Hollywood movie after the re-opening of the theatre affected by the second wave.
Furthermore, the movie is doing better in the Punjab region in spite of getting tough competition from Pollywood movies including Chal Mera Putt 3 and Qismat 2 ruling at the box office. No time to die opened its theatrical journey with Rs 2.35 crores on Thursday, it added Rs 2.15 crores on Friday. The business got doubled on Saturday due to the National Holiday and it made Rs 4 crores by the end of the day. Apart from that, it has grossed $51.4 million as its worldwide collection against a hefty production budget of $250-301 million.
In addition to this, No Time to Die is the 25th instalment in the spy film franchise. Daniel Craig is reprising his role in the movie as British MI6 agent James Bond. It is helmed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and financed by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli under the production banner of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and Eon Productions.
