The official date of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2021 has been released. The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced the exam schedule for the upcoming JEE Main 2021 for April and May session on Tuesday. He informed the exam dates through a live session and stated that the April session will be conducted from 20th July to 25th July 2021 while the May session exams will take place from 27th July to 2nd August. The aspirants who couldn’t apply for JEE Main for the aforementioned sessions can apply now as the official site has reopened the registration window. The candidates can fill the form for the entrance by visiting the site i.e; jeemain.nta.nic.in. The registrations for the April session would be accepted from 6th July to 8th July 2021 while the aspirants wishing to take exams of the May session could register from 9th July to 12th July. So, the candidates willing to take the exams can immediately visit the site and register.
NTA which conducted the Jee Mains and Neet like exams has released that around 6.80 lakh candidates have already registered themselves for JEE Main April 2021 scheduled this year. While talking about the May session, a total of 6.09 candidates have filled the forms. Since the registration window has been opened, it is expected that the number of candidates will increase for both sessions.
However, the probability of aspirants registering for the May session is higher as it will provide them a little more time for preparation compared to the April session. Besides, an aspirant has to apply in both sessions if they want to apply for two separate programmes. Like if a candidate wants to apply for B.E in the April session and for B.Arch in the May session, they will have to register accordingly. While NTA has also allowed the candidates to withdraw their application forms.
Besides, you can also make changes in the forms during the mentioned scheduled dates. However, the candidates looking for NEET-UG 2021 exam dates have to wait further since the education minister resigned from his post son after the Jee main date announcement.
