In a piece of extremely shocking news, it has come forward that a very renowned politician Orie Rogo Manduli has passed away. She had created history by becoming the first woman rally driver from Africa. Her personal assistant confirmed Manduli’s death news. They stated that the former National Council of Non-Governmental Organisations’ Chairperson sadly died at her residence in Riverside Drive situated in Nairobi. It is stated that she was 73-years-old at the time of her unfortunate death. Undoubtedly, it has affected all the close ones and her friends to a huge extent.
According to Orie Rogo Manduli’s personal assistant named Samuel Ndamubuki, she was getting ready for her dental checkup. The assistant stated that they had visited the Nairobi hospital for a general checkup on Tuesday and had an appointment this afternoon. They also shared that the 73-years-old even visited her brother at Emabkasi in the morning only. While she was doing her makeup, her assistant noticed that she just leaned on one side. It was at that moment when Samuel sensed something is off. Later, the news broke out that Orie has died on Wednesday at her Nairobi’s home.
Ever since the death news came forward, the general public has been wondering about her sudden cause of death and the reason behind it. However, nothing related to it has been revealed yet. Though the family of Orie has also given the confirmation of her passing away. It looks like we have to wait until an official statement from the family regarding the cause of death is disclosed. Presently, everyone is paying her sincere tributes and sharing strength with her family and close relatives to bear the pain in this difficult time. Earlier in July this year, she was admitted to Nairobi hospital.
As per some sources, Manduli was suffering from kidney complications and regarding the same, she was admitted to the hospital. Later, in August, she even got discharged. Her assistant Samuel had told this to “The Standard” in a telephonic interview. It was stated that though she died in the afternoon, her lifeless body was still at her house by 6 PM. Born in 1948 in Maseno located in Kisumu County, Mary Ories was born to Gordon Rogo and Zeruiah Adhiambo. Besides, Ories was a renowned politician and also served as the chairman of Non-Governmental Organisations. Mrs Manduli will always be remembered for being a passionate and generous woman.
