Over the Moon is an American Chinese computer-animated musical adventure film. The movie has its premiere at Montclair Film Festival on 17 October 2020. Later the movie has been scheduled to release in some of the selected theatres. Along with that the giant streaming site Netflix also going to stream the movie on 23 October 2020. The movie has received positive to mixed reviews from the critics. It emerged as a decent entertainer, especially for the children. However, the movie is getting criticising for the story by the critics.

Over The Moon is directed by Glen Keane and John Kahrs and produced by Peilin Chou and Gennie Rim under the production banner of Netflix Animation, Pearl Studio, and Sony Pictures Imageworks. Over The Moon is written by Audrey Wells revolves around a girl named Fei Fei builds and flies a rocket to meet the goddess of the moon. The film is all about her attempts and curiosity of Fei Fei who is eager to reach to the moon. Fei Fei is quite close to her mother and in her memory, the young talented girl Fei Fei creates a rocket through which she can manage to reach the moon. Her mission is to discover the presence of the legendary goddess of the moon. As she has listened to plenty of stories about the goddess which raises her curiosity to meet the goddess.
