In the 8th May episode. As Dhara walks away, she thinks about Raavi’s words and realizes that maybe she hasn’t been fair to Shweta and Krish. She decides to give Shweta a chance and walks back to the living room. Meanwhile, Shweta sees Prerna’s angry expression and slyly smirks to herself, feeling victorious that she is causing rifts in the family.
Dhara approaches Shweta and apologizes for her behavior earlier. She tells her that she wants to give her a chance and hopes they can start afresh. Krish is taken aback by Dhara’s sudden change in behavior towards Shweta but decides to keep quiet. Later on, Dhara and Raavi have a heart-to-heart conversation where Dhara confesses her worries about Krish’s future with Shweta. Raavi assures her that everything will fall into place and that they shouldn’t worry too much.
As the episode comes to an end, Shweta is seen talking to someone on the phone, plotting her next move to destroy the family.
As Prerna wipes her tears, she decides to go to the hospital to confirm Shweta’s pregnancy. She leaves a note for Shivank, letting him know where she’s heading. At the hospital, Prerna requests a pregnancy test for Shweta, but the doctor refuses, citing patient confidentiality. However, Prerna convinces the doctor to give her the test results by promising to keep it strictly between them.
To Prerna’s surprise, the test results show that Shweta is not pregnant, confirming Krish’s suspicion. Prerna is relieved that she doesn’t have to make a difficult decision like abortion. Prerna returns home and confronts Shweta, telling her that she knows the truth about her fake pregnancy. Shweta denies it, but Prerna shows her the test results, leaving Shweta speechless.
Meanwhile, Dhara decorates a room for Prerna, which confuses Prerna. Dhara explains that she wants Prerna to feel welcomed and loved in their home, just like Raavi feels loved by Shiva. Toward the end of the episode, Shivank meets with a man and asks him to help him get a Canadian visa. The man demands a huge amount of money, which Shivank agrees to pay. He thinks to himself that once he gets to Canada, he’ll make enough money to repay it. He also wonders if he can trust Prerna to keep his secret. The episode ends there.
