The lead actress Katrina Kaif who recently tied in the knot with URI’s famed actor Vicky Kaushal come back on the big screens after a year. She last appeared in Sooryavanshi wherein she shared screens with Akshay Kumar. The film emerged as one of the highest grosser of the year. Phone Bhoot Release Date

According to the latest reports, the film is scheduled for its theatrical release on 4th November 2022. However, the film generated low pre-release buzz due to which it received a dull response at the box office. Another reason for this slow performance is the lack of a major face in the film. Katrina Kaif is the only significant actor in the film. Although Khatter and Siddhant are talented actors sometimes films need some more to engage the audience.

Phone Bhoot was released alongside Janhvi Kapoor’s Mili and Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha’s Double XL. Both films received dull responses at the box office still Phone Bhoot raked around 2 crores as its first-day collection. The evening shows of the film assisted the film to collect the amount. As we mentioned above that the film lacks a significant face and an enticing plot, along with that the film looks like a spoof movie. All the big circuits are struggling in finding an audience in the theatres.

However, Phone Bhoot is doing far better than its alongside releases including Mili and Double XL. Both films fall flat at the box office on their first day. Mili witnessed a poor opening of 35-40 lakhs whereas the collection of Double XL is more miserable than Mili. Double XL collected a dismal amount of 12-15 lakhs. Well, this is another disappointing Friday at the box office.
