Today’s episode of Punyashlok Ahilya Bai starts with Gautama applying Tilak to Ahilya. Gangoba comes and tells them about the section of people who are quite disturbed with seeing her honouring Malhar. Here, Gautama favours Ahilya saying she is similar to the word achievement. She says that she is sure that Ahilya would succeed in waving the banner in the sanctuary. Later, Malhar asks about Dwarka and then heads to meet the latter. Malhar notices Dwarka tensed and asks her what has caused her this disturbance. Dwarka begins to cry and asks him if he is not aware of the reason himself.
Dwarka asks him why did he not offer the honour to Khanderao and what has gotten into him that he thought of giving this to Ahilya. Malhar tries to make her understand that he had given the chance to everyone and it was Ahilya who succeeded in gaining the honour. He adds that it’s Ahilya’s enthusiasm and keenness that has given this offer. He asks if she is upset because Ahilya is a girl. Malhar tells her to think about Gautama who used to like her but Ahilya changed her perception. Malhar further says that Ahilya will change her mindset as well.
Though Dwarka sticks to her point and tells Malhar that Gautama has given the honour to Ahilya until Khanderao gets ready for it. Once he comes, the seat will be given to him. Dwarka reminds Malhar that to get the banner one needs to climb at least a thousand steps that need a whole lot of strength and being a girl, Ahilya would not be able to succeed in it. She says intelligence is a different thing but she lacks in strength. Dwarka challenges Malhar saying Ahilya will fail badly.
Malhar tells her that he will never put any of the conditions in front of Guru Ji if she fails. Dwarka asks him to promise her. Here, Dhana Ji gets worried about losing against Ahilya as it will reputation if could win against a woman. Guru Ji tells him not to worry as he will make sure that Ahilya doesn’t reach the location and will not get the banner. The plot against Ahilya.
