Ram Setu is scheduled for its theatrical release on 25th October 2022 coinciding with the Goverdhan Pooja festival. The film received an extended weekend and started its box office collection with double-digit figures of ₹15 crores. Although the film experienced a usual drop on the second day and minted ₹11 crores. The film performed on its third day and collected ₹8.25 crores. As of now, the film has amassed around ₹34.25 crores. It witnessed a drop of 25% on its third day. The performance of the film is a bit indolent in Gujrat, UP, and Bihar circuits.

In addition to this, the collection of the film is better in Gujrat but if compared to the lead star’s previous release hits including Sooryavanshi and Housefull 4 and both of them are Diwali releases. Ram Setu registered 8th rank in the best three-day weekend of the ongoing year. The story of the film is written by Abhishek Sharma and revolves around an archaeologist named Satya Dev who is investigating the nature of Ram Setu, also known as Adam’s Bridge. The plot of the film was criticised by the audience and critics as well but still, it managed to sustain its pace at the box office.
This is the 5th film of Akshay Kumar 2022 including a digital release Cutputtli, however, the film received a theatrical release. The rest of the films released in the same year of the megastar including Raksha Bandhan, Samrat Prithviraj, and Bachchan Pandey failed to fulfill the expectations of the audience.

It is bankrolled by Aruna Bhatia and Vikram Malhotra under the production banner of Amazon Studios and Cape of Good Films.
