Well, the World Television Premiere of the movie will be screened at Zee Cinema at 12 noon on 25th July 2021, Sunday. So, enjoy this highly entertaining sports drama inspired by the real-life story of Badminton champion Saina Nehwal. The film’s theatrically released on 26th March 2021 after getting postponed on September 2020 due to the grim situation of the Pandemic. Later the movie gets its digital release on Amazon Prime Video on 23rd April 2021.
The theatrical release of the movie got interrupted due to the lack of occupancy and running time. Even the movie terminated so early due to the sudden spike in the cases. But now the viewers are enjoying the movie on the digital platform and now it is all on its way for its WTP. Along with that the movie also received favourable words of mouth from the critics and from the critics either. The narration and the direction of the movie are praised along with the performance of the lead star.
Saina Nehwal herself announced some of the information regarding the movie back in April 2017. Initially, Shraddha was decided as the lead actress for the movie. But later, Parineeti replaced Shraddha due to some health issues. The producer of the film announced the lead role.
Saina is directed by Amole Gupte and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the production banner of T-Series Film. The movie cast Parineeti Chopra in the titular role and along with her Manav Kaul, Eshan Naqvi, Meghna Malik, and Ankur Vikal is appearing in the pivotal roles.
