On 8 December 2022, he was transferred and admitted to the GTB hospital for diagnosis of gallbladder stone-induced acute necrotizing pancreatitis with modified CTSI and then transferred to Safdarjung hospital on 27 December 2022. Later sometimes, doctors referred to admit him to AIIMS hospital and he was transferred to 11 January 2023 where his death was confirmed by the doctors.
