Stewart Murray Wilson who is known for sexual offending has passed away. Yes, it is coming forward that the 74-year-old has died. Though the exact location where the convicted sex offender took his last breath and other information regarding when did it happen has not been revealed yet. Ever since the news came into existence, netizens are searching about his possible cause of death and how did he die. People are curious to know about his life and what happened to him that he died all of the sudden. Here’s what er know about him and his death cause.

Born on December 11, 1946, Stewart Murray Wilson was born and raised in Timaru which is located in New Zealand. During his 20s, Stewart lived in Sydney and later he moved to Blenheim, in New Zealand as well. The man is infamous for serious sexual offending that include offences against children. His criminal record began in 1963 when he had first appeared in court for burglary charges.

Before 1990, he was also involved in convictions for female assaults, living off the earnings of a prostitute, and a further assault on children. It was in 1996 when Stewart was convicted on sex offences that involved 16 female victims. Murray exploited the females from 1972 to December 1994, the year when he was eventually arrested. Taking his crimes into consideration, Stewart was sentenced in March 1996 to 21 years in prison. Stewart stayed in Rolleston Prison which was a low-security prison for several years.

The said prison consisted of a sex offenders unit which was called Kia Marama that provided a treatment programme, mainly in groups, to all the child offenders. However, Murray was not a part of that programme as he didn’t admit to the psychologist that he was guilty. Now, the infamous offender Stewart Murray Wilson has died. Speaking of his cause of death, sources claim that he died naturally and that he was not under treatment for any illness.

The man infamously dubbed the Beast of Blenheim was released from prison in August 2019 to live in his cottage on the grounds of Whanganui Prison. Coralie Easther, Corrections operations director for the lower north region, confirmed to the Whanganui Chronicle that Stewart Wilson died and added that he passed away at Whanganui Hospital. Reportedly, Murray Wilson died on Monday, October 11, 2021, due to natural causes. Though it’s not confirmed as of now. Next of kin has been notified while all the registered victims are being advised.
