MTV Supermodel of the Year Season 2 is all set to entertain the viewers. Yes, after delivering a super entertaining and successful season 1, the makers are prepared to repeat the success of the historical season. It is returning with an empowering theme titled “Unapologetically You”. Going by the reports of MTV Youth Study 2021, 75% of people believe that some of the best-dressed people are the ones who don’t feel uncomfortable with their own skin and body and accept themselves for who they are. While another 78% states that it doesn’t need to look beautiful all the time. Well, the new season will be based on these insights only.
The reality show will feature Bollywood Diva Malaika Arora along with the handsome hunk Milind Soman and sassy Anusha Dandekar as the panel of the judges. The trio will look forward to finding that one model who represents herself through her fashion and style the best. However, the season will not include the fashion designer Masaba Gupta and Ujjawala Raut this time and only the above-mentioned personalities will be seen judging the beautiful models coming from different parts of the country to fulfil their dream of becoming a supermodel.
Based on a bold theme, the new season will start from 22nd August 2021, on the special occasion of Rakha Bandhan. Malaika Arora herself shared a sizzling promo on her official Instagram account and revealed the date and time of the show. Other judges also took their Instagram handles to inform the fans about the same.
Though the first promo had been released quite earlier, the 2nd promo was dropped on August 18 which has been garnering a lot of engagement of the viewers either. Sharing her excitement about the show, Malaika stated that the show is giving a platform to all the young talented women to express their true selves in the most beautiful way and that season 2 is going to be nothing less than but a rollercoaster.
