According to the latest box office reports shared by some notable trade analysts that Ajith Kumar’s latest release has occupied around 74.52% footfalls in the theatres in Tamil Nadu and the rest of the circuits and heading toward success rapidly. The film did quite well on its first Sunday and sustained its lucrative business throughout the complete weekend. The makers of the film are overjoying the success and appreciating the audience for such immense love. The audience is giving an overwhelming response and enjoyed the film as the treat of the Pongal festival.
Thunivu Box Office Collection
Thinuvu scheduled for its theatrical release on 11th January coincided with the Pongal festival. The film arrived with a positive response from the critics and from the audience as well. It received an extended weekend and took complete advantage of it by adding healthy greenbacks on each day after its release. It has been said that the film collected a massive amount of 100 crores from its worldwide ticket sales. It is yet to be released in Hindi in the northern circuits which will definitely boost the overall collection of the film. On its fifth day, it raked a whopping 11.50 crores.
In addition to this, the film is standing strong with a commendable worldwide box office collection of 100 crores against a production budget of 200 crores making it the second highest-grosser Indian film so far following Varisu. Before this, the actor appeared in Valimai in the closing year and achieved commercial success obtaining 234 crores against a production budget of 150 crores. Now, the actor again set screens on fire with his magnificent and heart-winning performance bringing the storm at the box office.
