Veteran actress Una Stubs has passed away at the age of 84. The sad news has shaken so many hearts and has brought a flood on social media as everyone is mourning her death. Stubs came into view of the limelight after appearing on British television and theatre and also in some movies. The iconic star took her last breather on the 12th of August. Her manager Rebecca Blond confirmed her death saying Miss Stubbs has left us forever after which so many hearts wrenched because she is one of the most amazing and loving artists.
The 84 years old was an iconic English actress, dancer, and television personality as well who has done so many television programs, theaters, and sometimes movies too. Miss. Stubbs came into view after appearing in Summer Holiday which was released in 1963 and some other shows as well but she got immense popularity when she portrayed Rita’s role in the BBC’s sitcom called Till Death Us Do Part and the same role in “In Sickness and In Health”. Her roles in Sherlock, EastEnders, and Sir Cliff Richard’s classic film Summer Holiday were her biggest achievement because these roles brought awards on her palm.
According to the reports Una Stubbs was suffering from several kinds of illnesses for the last couple of months and this is the reason she died. Her son Christian Henson took Twitter to show his pain where he wrote that some of her fans know her as Rita and some know her as Bat, some knows her as Sally and some as Hudson but he and his two brothers used to call her mom, ending the statement he wrote “Thanks for everything Mum. RIP.” In his post, it is showing that how many things she has done for her family. On social media, there are plenty more tweets that people are getting devasted after hearing her death news.
Talking about her carrier so she was in the industry for more than 50 years and from 1960 to 2017 she ruled the industry. While her journey she did 10 super blockbuster movies where she got too much appreciation for her roles and acting. Except for her film carrier, she has done around 35 television shows along with 4 times theatre and also an audio drama as well. Her contribution to the entertainment industry was just amazing as she had occupied millions of hearts. There are so many things to know about her and no doubt she was one of the legendry faces and no one can take her place ever.
