Veteran actor Yusuf Hussain has passed away. The 73-year-old actor died on Saturday, October 30, 2021, while getting treated at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Despite medical staff attempting to save the actor’s life, he couldn’t survive and died this morning. Hansal Mehta, Yusuf Hussain’s son-in-law and filmmaker, shared the death news. Ever since the news was announced, people are expressing their sadness and are paying Hussain a heartfelt tribute. Besides, his family, friends, and the entire film fraternity has gotten devastated after learning about the legendary actor’s sudden demise. They have been sharing emotional posts on their social media accounts.
Yusuf Hussain’s daughter Safeena’s husband Hansal Mehta took to Instagram and shared an emotional post. He posted a photo of the late actor and wrote how Yusuf helped him in completing his film featuring Rajkumar Rao “Shahid” released in 2012. He added that his career as a filmmaker had come to an end and he was almost finished completely but Yusuf Hussain appeared in his life and helped him with his film. The filmmaker further wrote that Hussain was like a father to him and addressed him as life itself. He remembered him and owed his new life to him. Hansal Mehta wrote that the actor’s departure has made him an orphan today.

Veteran Actor Yusuf Hussain Death Cause
After the news announcement by Hansal Mehta, various celebrities including Manoj Bajpayee, Abhishek Bachchan, and more have been condoling Yusuf Hussain’s death. Abhishek who worked with Yusuf in the 2003 released film Kuch Na Kaho and upcoming movie titled Bob Biswas took to Twitter and expressed his sadness. He wrote that Hussain was kind, gentle and full of warmth and shared condolences to his family and friends. Actor Manoj Bajpyaee also condoled the 73-year-old death and prayed for the late actor’s soul. Pooja Bhatt also shared her grief as she commented under Hansal Mehta’s post.
Talking about Yusuf Hussain, he was popularly known for his appearances in the films such as Dhoom 2, Raees, and Road to Sangam. As per reports, the actor’s cause of death was the ongoing virus. He was even getting treated at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. However, his health kept getting deteriorated and he passed away this Saturday.
