Well, as per the reports the Mimi world television premiere is all on its way for the audience eagerly waiting for it. After making its digital release on Netflix on 26th July 2021, it received many favourable words of mouth from all over. As per the reports, Mimi will be aired exclusively on Star Gold at 12 PM on 31st October 2021, Sunday. Well, Mimi is one of those movies released direct digital released due to shut down of theatres. It also faced some controversy when it releases accidentally on Jio Cinema and went to torrent sites. As we mentioned above that the critics acclaimed the performance of all the lead stars including Kirti, Pankaj Tripathi, and Sai Tamhankar. Kirti Sanon’s performance has been lauded as her career-best performance. At the same time, it is also criticized for its unreal plot.

Besides, Mimi is a remake of a Marathi film titles Mala Aai Vhhaychy released in 2011. After the Hindi version of the movie now it is heading up to the South wherein it is going to remake in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam with Keerthy Suresh in the lead. It is written by Laxman Utekar and Rohan Shankar revolves around a small-town girl with a big dream of becoming a famous actress and going to her dream city Mumbai. Later, she meets Bhanu Pandey, who tried to convince her to become a surrogate mother after an American couple offered him money to find out a perfect girl who can be their surrogate. But later due to a tragedy the couple abandons Mimi with their child.
Helmed and screenplay by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios under the production banner of Maddock Films. The movie is scored by A R Rahman. Apart from the lead cast, the movie also stars Manoj Pahwa, Supriya Pathak, Evelyn Edwards, and Aidan Whytock in the leading roles.
