As per the report, Indian junior wrestler Antim Panghal made history on Friday after winning the gold medal. she just not won the gold, she dominated the women’s 53 kg field in Sofia, Bulgaria. She also won the European Champion Olivia Andrich by technical excellence in the competition. The other Indian wrestler who previously became U20 World Champian were current CWG gold medalists Deepak Punia, Ramesh Kumar, Palwinder Singh Cheema, and Pappu Yadav.

As far as we know, Antim Panghal began her match against German Amery Olivia beating her 11-0 and succeeding in the match technical excellence. The Indian wrestler beat Ayaka Kimura of Japan by fall in her second match. In the semi-final match, Panghal played against Nataliia Klivchutska of Ukraine and went on to win the contest in a dominating fashion with a scoreline of 11- 2. In the past, Antim won the bronze at the Cadet World Championships in 2021 and gold at the Asian Junior Championships in 2022.
