A mother from Selma, California named Norma Nunez is completely devastated and heartbroken after her 22 years old daughter disappeared suddenly. She was completely shocked when her daughter didn’t return home and even lost all contact with her. The woman went to the authorities and lodged a missing complaint. It has been two weeks since Norma Nunez’s daughter disappeared. The police department is searching for the girl but as of now, they hadn’t found any kind of evidence related to the victim. According to the latest reports, the missing girl has been identified as Jolissa Fuentes. She was 22 years old at the time she disappeared. The investigation team started their brief enquiry through which they came to know that the girl was last seen on surveillance footage at a Selma, California gas station at around 4 AM on the 7th of August 2022. The gas station has been located around 16 miles away the South of Fresno. The law enforcement are making supreme efforts to find the girl.
Julissa’s mother Norma Nunez informed a significant organization that her daughter disappeared two weeks ago. Nunez further informed that she told her she was coming from a party and stopped at a gas station to buy some snacks. At the time she was purchasing some snacks she called her sister somewhere around 3:59 AM but her sister was sleeping and couldn’t pick up the call. The household informed that she called again at 5:24 and 5:25 the two times consecutively. Julissa’s father informed her that it was the last call of her daughter and after that, they can’t contact her again.
Nunez also organised a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to help her family to find her daughter. She urged to all the people who have learnt about the mysterious incident to assist them in finding her daughter. Nunez said to help her in bringing her daughter back home. As of now, the campaign has collected $5,065 and the goal is to collect $10,000 goal.
In addition to this, the chief of the Selma Police department named Rudy Alcaraz addressed the issue and stated that the case as being criminal in nature since this is not normal behaviour for her.
