Who Is Mohammed Zubair? NCPCR Demands Removal Of His Tweet Check Why?

Hello, all the peers, most lately a controversial tweet is gathering the attention of the people and even of the authorities. Well, the tweet has been made by Mohammed Zubair through an official Twitter account that reads Child rights body that is also known as the NCPCR. The commission even approached the Delhi High Court to seek the removal of the tweet of the Social media user Mohammed Zubair. The same Tweet has been shared by Alt News. The tweet had been shared by the user on 6th August 2020 during a verbal spat with a man that even contained the photo of his daughter.

The NCPCR demanded the removal of the tweet, as we mentioned above the tweet was also shared by a fact-checking website ALTNews. The commission claimed that the tweet is violating the law, but the controversy begin when it came to know that Twitter refused to remove the tweet. The chairperson of NCPCR Priyank Kanoongo complained about it and after investigating the facts, Delhi Police has registered a case against Social Media personality Zubair for violating the Right to Privacy Act.

According to the latest reports, the NCPCE, Twitter refused to take down the girls’ photo after it was tweeted. However, the photo get blurred but it wasn’t removed.

Last August, Zubair shared a man’s display picture along with his daughter. The picture was blurred when the community objected to the tweet in late August.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights had sought action against Zubair under various sections of the law. In addition to this, the High Court halt the Delhi Police to take any sort of action against Mohammed Zubair. Although two FIR has been registered against Zubair under the protection of Children from Sexual offence.

The Child Rights Group is now hoping for justice from the High Court, the authorities claimed that they had sought an update on the case from the Police and Twitter in July. The Delhi Police also alleged Twitter for not providing them with the information they are seeking for. The police officials are looking for some names related to the case at some point.
