A piece of good news is coming forward from the music industry. A feud between rapper Honey Singh and composer Vishal Dadlani that has been existing for a very long time has been sorted out. The musical personalities will be seen hugging each other on the sets of Indian Idol Season 12. The episode will be telecasted this Saturday on Sony TV where the fans will witness the pair finally moving on with their long-standing rife that began back in 2003. The beef started with the popular song of Chennai Express under the title, “Lungi Dance” which continued till the beginning of this year.
It was the days of the making of the blockbuster film of Sharukh Khan when the rife between them ignited. Since Vishal Dadlani along with Shekhar gave the entire music to the film, Honey was also asked to deliver a dance number. Despite been given so much time, Honey Singh sent the song at the last minute which was completely opposed by the Vishal. The singer had an argument with the makers regarding it as he didn’t approve of the idea of adding a song at the very last minute. Although, the makers went on to add the song given by the rapper.
Despite the opposition of Vishal Dadlani for this song, it got released on 13th July 2013. The song collected enormous love from fans across the country due to its unique lyrics and accent, Honey chose to deliver the song. Even after the song achieving milestones, the relationship between Vishal and Honey didn’t sort. And after carrying the burden of the feud for almost 7 years, the pair will eventually solve their issues as they will hug each other out and end their differences.
The historical moment will take place on the reality show’s sets where Vishal Dadlani is one of the three judges. Whereas the rapper will arrive along with Nushart Bharucha for the promotions of his already released song “Saiyaan Ji”. The song broke all the previous records as it has become the most viewed song in a very short amount of time. Apart from Honey’s vocals, Neha Kakkar has also given her melodious voice in the song and is also a judge in the show. The video features the Bollywood actress, Nushrat Bharucha.
Both Vishal Dadlani and Yo Yo Honey Singh ended their differences after a rocking performance by one of the contestants Sawai Bhatt who sang “Tharki Chokro”. Not just the duo praised the contestant but also accompanied him on the stage where they finally smiled and hugged each other out. They were also seen beatboxing. This episode will be available for the viewers on the coming weekends.
